On Saturday, Ellen finally got a belly button and shed that dried up ol' umbi stump. She's also finally big enough to begin using a
very few of the handful of
cloth diapers we have stocked. YAY for a happier heiney and environment!
On Sunday, Ellen made her first trip to church with us -- and even got to sing with the choir briefly.
Daddy looks excited because we also finally got to learn who our
new pastor would be -- and we LOVED the result.
She also attended her second Session meeting -- though she slept in her Dad's arms through almost all of it.
Ever since Fairy Godmother Janet bought her the boppy, Ellen has loved sitting, napping, and cooing in it. This is today's installment!
She's also begun to ramp up her intake -- which fortunately also means she's waking up less frequently in the middle of the night!
(YAY!)
Tuesday she'll have her first babysitters -- Grandma and Papa -- after spending the morning in Dad's care.
